As with other mechanical gym equipment, your BODY BIKE needs to be taken care of; regular cleaning and servicing will keep it fit and extend its lifetime. A clean and smooth-running BODY BIKE is a pleasure to ride and a bulletproof recipe for success – for both customers and the club.

Cleaning and care
This cleaning and Care guide is relevant for all BODY BIKE Models
Tools Required:
- Vaseline oil
- Clean rag
Handlebar & Bottle Holder
- Release the horizontal handlebar lock.
- Move the slider back and forth to clean all surfaces with a clean dry rag.
Handlebar Post
- Release the handlebar post and pull it up until the stop mark is visible.
- Lock the handlebar post and clean it using a clean dry rag with Vaseline oil.
- Lower and lock the handlebar post after cleaning.
Important: Do not move the handlebar post to another bike, as each bike has a unique number.*
Saddle
- Release the horizontal lock of the saddle.
- Move the saddle slider back and forth to clean all surfaces with a clean dry rag.
Saddle Post
- Release the vertical lock and pull the saddle post up until the stop mark is visible.
- Clean the post using a clean dry rag with Vaseline oil.
- Lower and lock the saddle post after cleaning.
Important: Do not move the saddle post to another bike, as each bike has a unique number.*
Cover Protection
- Apply a thin coat of BODY BIKE Vaseline oil once a month to protect the cover from sweat and dirt.
Daily Cleaning
- Wipe down the side and top covers daily.
- Clean the stabilizers thoroughly, especially around bolts, connections, and wheels.

Maintenance
This maintenance guide is for BODY BIKE SMART, SMART+ and SMART+ Phantom Models
It is recommended to perform this maintenance guide after 1500 hours of use to ensure optimal performance of your BODY BIKE. For BODY BIKE SMART+ Phantom owners, you can easily check the total operation time of your bike in the Onboard Tracking Menu within the BODY BIKE App.
Tools required
- 6 mm Allen wrench
- BODY BIKE App
- Release the horizontal handlebar lock.
- Move the slider to position “K.”
- Adjust the Allen screw underneath with a 6 mm Allen wrench.
- If the lock is too loose, tighten the Allen screw.
- If the lock is too tight, loosen the Allen screw.
- Return the handlebar to position “B” and check the adjustment by pushing and pulling. The handlebar should not move.

SMART s. 15-16, SMART+ s. 16-17, Phantom s. 17-18
- Release the vertical handlebar post lock.
- Slide it down to position “A” and lock.
- Remove the service hatch and locate the Allen bolt for adjustment.
- Adjust the Allen bolt with a 6 mm Allen wrench.
- If the lock is too loose, tighten the screw.
- If the lock is too tight, loosen the screw.
- Check the adjustment by pulling the handlebar up and down with the vertical handlebar locked. The handlebar should not move.

SMART s. 17, SMART+ s. 18, Phantom s. 19
- Release the horizontal saddle lock.
- Move the saddle slider to position “K” and lock it.
- Adjust the Allen screw underneath using a 6 mm Allen wrench.
- If the lock is too loose, tighten the Allen screw.
- If the lock is too tight, loosen the Allen screw.
- Return the saddle to position “G” and lock it. Check the adjustment by pushing and pulling the saddle. The saddle should not move.
- Release the vertical saddle lock.
- Locate the Allen screw through the hole at the back of the bike.
- Adjust the Allen screw with a 6 mm Allen wrench.
- If the lock is too loose, tighten the Allen screw.
- If the lock is too tight, loosen the Allen screw.
- Return the saddle positon to “5”. Check the adjustment by pulling the saddle post up and down with the vertical saddle post locked. The saddle post should not move.

SMART s. 17, SMART+ s. 18, Phantom s. 19
1. Ensure You Have the Latest BODY BIKE App Version
- Open the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Go to your profile in the top-right corner and scroll down to the “App Updates” or “Manage apps & device” section.
- If an update for the BODY BIKE App is available, it will appear here with an option to update. The “What’s new” section will say if a new firmware is available.
- Tap the “Update” button if necessary.
2. Updating the Firmware
After updating the app, follow these steps:
- Open the BODY BIKE App on your device and start pedaling to detect your bike.
- Tap “Connect to Devices” and keep pedaling.
- Select your bike by identifying the bike number located on the top of the handlebar.
- The app will begin updating the firmware, displaying a progress bar.
Important: Keep pedaling throughout the firmware update to maintain the connection.

Replacements
This maintenance guide is for BODY BIKE SMART, SMART+ and SMART+ Phantom Models
Tools Required:
- 2 mm Allen wrench
- 8 mm wrench
- 15 mm wrench
- Small paintbrush
- BODY BIKE Grease (100 ml)
- Ensure the pedal arm is in a horizontal position pointing forward.
- Unscrew the pedals by turning them towards the back of the bike.
- Before installing new pedals, check the markings: “L” for left and “R” for right.
To install new pedals
- Ensure the pedal arm is in a horizontal position pointing backward.
- Thread the pedal by hand toward the front of the bike to ensure proper fit.
- Tighten the pedals with a 15 mm wrench with a force of 45 Nm.
*Note: Retighten pedals after the first week of use.

SMART s. 12-13, SMART+ s. 13-14, Phantom s. 13-14
- Remove both service hatches.
- Release tension completely on the brake.
- Remove the two bolts using an 8 mm wrench while holding the brake.
- Grease the new brake where the top bolt touches using a small paintbrush.
- Mount the new brake and ensure the distance between the brake and load cell is 1–2 mm.
- Fasten the bolts with an 8 mm wrench and put both service hatches back in place.

SMART s. 21-22, SMART+ s. 22-23
- Remove both service hatches.
- Carefully turn the silicone wheel to access the bolt on top.
- Loosen the bolt using a 2 mm Allen key.
- Remove the wheel and mount the new one in reverse order.
- Ensure the wheel turns correctly when turning the flywheel.
- Put both service hatches back in place
By following these steps, you will ensure your BODY BIKE stays in excellent condition for optimal performance.
