BODY BIKE App guide
The BODY BIKE Indoor Cycling app is developed for the BODY BIKE SMART+ indoor bike. Connect to your indoor bike by Bluetooth and use your smartphone to display the training data during workout.
BODY BIKE Indoor Cycling app provides users with a powerful tool to monitor their performance during workout and after. Displaying power/watts, %FTP, heart rate, cadence, distance and calories burned – current, average and maximum values.
It features Colour Intensity Zones which makes it easier to guide the class as well as to target your training. Adding colour to the zones, makes it visually easier to determine if you’re in the correct zone during your workout.
It is a motivating display of data intended for all indoor cyclists using the BODY BIKE SMART+ indoor bike. The video will guide you how to download and connect.
Connection guide & Workout overview
Get started with the BODY BIKE App on your Apple iPhone or Android device and connect to BODY BIKE SMART+ or SMART+ Phantom in just a few steps
Step 1: Download the BODY BIKE App
Download your free BODY BIKE App on the App Store or Google play Store
Step 2: Connect to your BODY BIKE SMART+
- Enable bluetooth on your phone.
- Allow location access for the BODY BIKE App
– Note: Location permission is required to detect bluetooth devices. The app can’t find your bike without it. - Open the BODY BIKE Indoor cycling app
- Find your bike number printed on the center of the handlebars.
- Start pedaling – the SMART Charge light will flash blue when the bike is ready to connect.
- Tap ‘connect to devices’ in the BODY BIKE App
- Your bike number will appear. Tap it to connect.
– If you are wearing a heart rate monitor, it will also appear on the list. - Press the arrow in the top left cornor to return to the start screen in order to start a new workout


Step 3: Start your workout
- Tap ‘start workout’ in the start screen.
- Tap the play icon to begin recording your session.


Tip: Set your personal data
To calculate your FTP (Functional Threshold Power) accurately:
- Open the burger menu in the top right cornor
- Tap on Personal Settings
- Enter your weight, date of birth, gender and cardio training per week
- The app will automatically calculate your FTP zones
Note that BODY BIKE does not collect, store, access, or share your data. Your data stays on your device – 100% private.



Understanding the workout display
Once connected, the workout screen becomes your real-time dashboard. It shows key performance metrics like power, cadence, and heart rate — all color-coded to reflect your effort zones.

Workout Rings
The outer ring shows your heart rate (if a heart rate monitor is connected).
The inner ring shows your cadence (RPM).
The center ring let’s you tap to switch the main display between:
- Power (W)
- % Max Heart Rate (MHR)
- % FTP (Functional Threshold Power)
The center color reflects your current training zone, based on the selected metric.
The power value is always displayed in white.
If no heart rate monitor is connected, the %MHR readout will also remain white.
Tap the play/stop icon next to the timer to start or stop recording your workout.
All live data is logged in the panel below the timer, giving you a continuous readout of your session.
Intensity scale
The intensity scale displays five effort levels:
The lightning bolt indicates your %FTP
The heart icon shows your %MHR (if connected)
The color and position of these icons change in real time to reflect your current intensity zone.
Complete your workout
At the end of your session, simply tap the stop icon to finish your ride. From the following pop up menu you can choose to resume, reset or save your ride.




Customize your app
Personalize your experience by selecting a color theme that suits your style. Choose from five distinctive skins to make the app your own.
