BODY BIKE App guide

The BODY BIKE Indoor Cycling app is developed for the BODY BIKE SMART+ indoor bike. Connect to your indoor bike by Bluetooth and use your smartphone to display the training data during workout.

BODY BIKE Indoor Cycling app provides users with a powerful tool to monitor their performance during workout and after. Displaying power/watts, %FTP, heart rate, cadence, distance and calories burned – current, average and maximum values.

It features Colour Intensity Zones which makes it easier to guide the class as well as to target your training. Adding colour to the zones, makes it visually easier to determine if you’re in the correct zone during your workout.

It is a motivating display of data intended for all indoor cyclists using the BODY BIKE SMART+ indoor bike. The video will guide you how to download and connect.

Connect & Start workout

This quick guide provides instructions for connecting the BODY BIKE APP on your Apple iPhone or Android phone with the BODY BIKE SMART+
Download your free BODY BIKE App on the App Store or Google play Store

  • Activate Bluetooth on your phone and open the BODY BIKE Indoor Cycling app. If you cannot find the bike, ensure the app has permission to access your device’s location. This is necessary for the app to detect nearby Bluetooth devices.
  • Locate your bike number in the center of the BODY BIKE SMART+ handel bar. Start pedalling and the light on the SMART Charge USB port will flash blue when the bike is ready to connect. 

    Tap ‘CONNECT TO DEVICES’. 
    Your bike number will appear on the list of available devices. If you are wearing an HR monitor, this will also appear on the list. 
    Tap the devices you wish to connect with and press the back arrow key in the top left corner of the screen. 
    The SMART Charge USB port will turn solid blue when connected with the App. 
  • Tap ‘START WORKOUT’ in the menu and you will get the workout screen. 

    TIP: In order to get your %FTP correct, please enter your personal data by tapping the burger menu in the top right corner and tapping personal settings. Add your personal data, and the App will automatically calculate your %FTP

    Please note that BODY BIKE does not collect, store, access or share your data.
    Your data is yours, and exclusively stored on your device. 

Workout screen

The workout screen will now display your workout data. 
Tap play to start recording your workout 

Gauge displays heart rate in the outer ring, cadence in the inner ring. 
Tap the center to toggle between power (w), %MHR or %FTP. 
The color in the center will follow the data and the workout zone 
The current power display is always white. 
If an HR transmitter is not connected, the %MHR will also stay white. 

Start or stop the data recorder by tapping the play or stop icon next to the timer

All live data from your workout is recorded in the live data panel below the timer. 

The color and location of the HR and power symbols indicate the intensity level based on the info listed in your personal settings. This feature is based on %MHR and %FTP. The color gauge center corresponds to this feature. 

Complete workout & view your data

Tap the stop icon next to the timer to complete your workout. 

Choose resume to return and continue your workout
Choose reset to cancel your current workout without saving
Choose save to save your workout in your workout history 

Tap save, to save your workout. 
To view your workout data choose your latest workout from the list.
To upload your workout to Strava, tap the upload to Strava symbol on the workout screen. 

Customize your app

Pick your favorite color skin, and choose between 5 different colors in the menu App settings.
